In the Fall 2013, we collected new and gently used shoes for some very needy children in Nigeria.  Northern Nigeria has gained a reputation for being increasingly hostile towards Christians. Many have fled across international borders to avoid persecution. The team from National Community Church partnered with a local church in Abuja to provide support for hundreds of refugees.  And our shoes were brought along by Pastor Joshua Symonett, Emmanuel and the rest of this amazing team on their mission to Nigeria!  Thanks to all our Rainbow Rockers we collected 21 pairs of shoes, a bunch of socks and one pair of baby leg warmers!!!
